On May 15, the village of Sussex held its annual Senior Rock-a-thon to celebrate older Americans. More than 150 people came out for the event, relaxing in rocking chairs along Main Street and enjoying burgers, brats and live music. Sussex Branch Manager Candy Walecki represented North Shore Bank.

Candy talks to the Girl Scouts about the importance of saving.

Also in May, at Mortgage Loan Originator Stephanie Glowinski-Moeller’s request, Candy gave a branch tour and quick seminar on saving to a troop of Girl Scouts. Stephanie’s daughter is a troop member.
