Important: Health screening participants save on 2013 health insurance!

Want to take charge of your health AND save on your health insurance premiums in 2013? Don’t forget to participate in FREE biometric health screenings in October. These screenings are provided free of charge to all employees and spouses.

During our insurance plan meetings last fall, we notified employees that to receive a discount on your medical premiums in 2013, you will need to participate in health screenings.  You must register online and take a confidential online health assessment prior to participating in the biometric screening, which will measure blood pressure, body fat percentage, waist circumference, body mass index (BMI), and cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglyceride and glucose levels. (Fasting for 10 hours prior to your appointment is required for accurate results.)

North Shore Bank is partnering with Interra Health to provide the health risk assessments and screenings. You will receive detailed information soon, explaining where and how to login. The online health assessments will be available beginning Sept. 24, and the screenings will be conducted Oct. 16-30 at a number of locations.
