The new year is fast approaching, and traditionally it has been a time to start anew, to resolve to change and improve one’s life.
So it seems only appropriate that for the latest gas card contest, we ask for your thoughts on setting goals and resolutions. It’s pretty open-ended: You can tell us about goals or resolutions you’ve made in the past, and whether you succeeded or failed, and why. You can share a story about an important goal you met. Maybe you know an effective technique for setting goals or can suggest a great book on the subject. Or maybe there’s something you’ve always wanted to do but have never quite pulled off — are you going to try again? Here are the rules:
- Share your goal-related knowledge with us at shorelines@northshorebank.com between today and Nov. 21.
- Your message should be at least two or three sentences long, but no longer than 500 words.
- When we receive your message, your name will be entered in a drawing for the $25 gas card. You can share as many thoughts as you want, but your name will be entered only once.
Your messages will be posted in Shorelines. The winner of the gas card will be announced in early December.
And we have a winner for our August-September contest! Congratulations to Lease Accounting Specialist Alison Farris, whose name was randomly drawn from a list of people who shared their holiday traditions. We’ll begin posting everyone’s traditions, starting with Alison’s, next Thursday. Thanks to all of you for the great stories.
