Recommended reading: It’s a dog’s life in ‘Racing’

All the animal fans out there will enjoy Southridge Assistant Branch Manager–Operations Judy Wozniak‘s suggestion:

If you are a dog lover and would like to know what goes through your dog’s mind as he lives his life, this is the book for you: Racing in the Rain: My Life as a Dog, by Garth Stein. In this adaptation of Stein’s best-seller The Art of Racing in the Rain, Enzo the dog shares his love of Nascar racing, among many other things. This story takes you to happy and sad places — you will laugh and you will cry, but no matter what, you will want to keep on reading to see what’s next.

Great recommendation, Judy. I loved this book. And if you like this book I would also recommend, “I Thought You Were Dead”, by Pete Nelson.

This is really a great book recommendation. I read it quite awhile ago and it still leaves an impression. If you’re an easy crier, though, watch out!
