On Oct. 4, we held a community safety forum at our Jackson Park branch, in the wake of a series of robberies in the neighborhood, including one at the branch.

Milwaukee Alderman Joe Dudzik helped catch the four suspects in the robbery on Sept. 12. Besides kicking off a series of discussions among business owners, citizens and local government officials about how to promote safety in the community, the forum also served as a chance to formally thank Alderman Dudzik and Milwaukee police officers for their help stopping the crime.
