Mequon sponsors chilly but fun-filled Winter Frolic

Mequon Teller Nicole Pundsack and Branch Manager Michele Padovano greeted Winter Frolickers at our booth at the event in Mequon

Our Mequon branch sponsored the Winter Frolic at the Mequon Nature Preserve on Feb. 8. The free event featured indoor and outdoor activities, including a farmers’ market, story time and sleigh rides through the preserve’s restored prairie.

Kettle Moraine Carriages provided sleigh rides at the North Shore Bank–sponsored Winter Frolic.

There were also cooking demonstrations, as well as tips on winter gear from outdoor outfitter REI, plus a bonfire, ice fishing and snowshoeing. And there was plenty of food!

“It was a wonderful event, with lots of families coming through and enjoying a Saturday in February and making memories of lots of fun winter games and sports,” Mequon Branch Manager Michele Padovano reported. “They had over 800 people attend.”
