Who’s Who: Vanessa Ramos
Personal Banker, El Rey
Vanessa is busy getting back into gardening. “I really haven’t been able to so much because I’ve been busy with my daughter, but I’m getting back on it. I’m just doing mostly veggies. On Sunday we planted chilies and tomatoes and zucchini — turned up the soil and got all dirty. It’ll all go in some good Mexican dishes.” You can find out more about Vanessa here.
Around the Bank
• BABY PHOTOS CONTEST Go here to see which employee’s name goes with each baby picture — and to see their current pictures, too, for a comparison. (It’s pretty fun. Take a look.) Congratulations to our winner, Branch Operations Support Supervisor Ashley Coleman, who successfully identified 10 out of 24 photos.
• Corporate Community Outreach Committee baby shower: The May 9 event took in $605 and three boxes of baby and kids’ supplies for Safe Babies Healthy Families. Thanks to all who participated!
• Kids Day Fox Valley: North Shore Bank hosted the safety awareness event on May 3 at the Shopko parking lot in Menasha. Menasha PB Adam Graf estimated about 1,200 people attended. We gave away 30 bikes and helmets, which were purchased with donations from local businesses. Along with Adam, ABMO Jill Heule and Tellers Rachel Floyd and Tyler Schumacher from the branch helped out, as did BBO Mike Anderson, DM Kerri Collins, Investment Rep Darren Grayson, and MLO Marci Oliver. Adam’s brother-in-law Chase played Seymour Savings, and Tyler’s fiancée and two other friends of Adam’s helped out. Jill’s husband ran the Boy Scouts’ food service for the event.
• New report for home buyers: North Shore Bank is producing a new quarterly report for home buyers with the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors. The report breaks down the housing market by average monthly home payment, which helps home buyers see what their money will get them in different parts of a town or city. Be aware of this — it could be useful to your customers! The current report breaks down 30 areas in and near Milwaukee and can be found at northshorebank.com/housingaffordabilityguide.
