Retirement: Mary Sue Rasinske bids NSB farewell today
“North Shore Bank is not just one of many best places to work; it is the BEST place to work!” says the Senior Checking Services Representative, who will join husband Dan in retirement today, after almost 30 years at the bank. Mary Sue thanks the mentors who guided her throughout her banking career and remembers her friend Gail Fraunfelder. Take a look at the absolutely delicious — and very clever — going-away poster her coworkers put together and read her story.

“I can definitely say I have expanded my knowledge of banking, especially in consumer loan servicing,” says Loan Funding Rep Kelly Thiemer, who marks five years with North Shore Bank on June 29. “I have to give thanks to Joe Fretschel and Maribeth Osmundsen, along with many others who have been willing to teach and work with me to help me grow in my career. North Shore Shape Up: NSB employees receive discount on HMR meal program
Dieting was nothing new for Mary K., a nurse from Milwaukee. She’d tried losing weight before, but it always ended up being a “yo‐yo diet.” She explains, “I’d lose the weight, then put it right back on.” What’s different this time? “With Healthy Solutions at Home, I’m keeping the weight off because it’s a lifestyle change.” In just 22 weeks, Mary lost 47 pounds.
Employees interested in losing weight may want to check out HMR’s Healthy Solutions at Home program, which delivers healthy, planned meals to participants at their homes and provides support via regular meetings. (You can even attend them by phone.) North Shore Bank employees receive a discount on the program. You can read more about Mary’s story and the program in this PDF, and learn more about what sort of meals are available and the discount in this PDF.
