Selections from the 2014 Bayshore Town Center Chalk Art Festival

North Shore Bank was a sponsor of the 2014 Bayshore Town Center Chalk Art Festival on August 16 and 17. Bayshore Branch Manager Gloria Rosenberg called this year’s event “very successful,” despite a downpour on Saturday night washing away much of the art before more people could see it on Sunday.

“Overall, it was very good,” Gloria says. The festival saw 71 total entries, 25 of which were in the Youth category, which we sponsored — both numbers are records for the event. Besides handing out information about North Shore Bank, we gave kids little boxes with sidewalk chalk so they could produce their own art, and passed out cold bottled water to the artists.

Kurri Cecchini of Loan Operations happened to be visiting Bayshore that weekend with her husband and teenage grandson, and shot a number of photos of the art on display. Here are some of the winners:

Kurri, thank you for the pictures! Gloria and the Bayshore team – thank you for helping to make this a great event, and doing your usual excellent job at displaying the bank in a positive light. Way to go!
