“Our anniversary celebration was a blast, and it was a huge success,” reports Robin Callis, branch manager at Kenosha Central, which celebrated its 15th anniversary on Oct 10 and 11. “We still have customers stopping by to thank us for putting on a great party.”
The branch held a mini “Taste of Kenosha” on Friday, featuring food donated from six local restaurants, most of which are also customers of the bank, and a wine tasting and pairing later in the day. MLO Linda Tait, Investment Rep Jeff Pieters, and BRM Amber Frantz were available to answer questions for visitors.
On Saturday, the branch partnered with Stein Garden & Gifts to give away decorative bags of tulip and daffodil bulbs to the first 100 customers of the day, along with scented candles. A Stein employee was also there to answer guests’ landscaping-related questions. Stein Garden also decorated the branch for the weekend with fall plants and pumpkins. “It still looks wonderful in here,” Robin says.
“We also had a make-your-own sundae bar on Saturday, with three flavors of ice cream and several different toppings,” she adds. “This was a big hit — even at 9am!”
The branch raffled off a $500 gift card, too. “One of our favorite customers won,” Robin says. “She was so excited!”
