Priscilla Hartling loses 25 pounds with Weight Watchers At Work

Senior Commercial Loan Specialist Priscilla Hartling is North Shore Bank’s latest Weight Watchers At Work success story. Since joining the group at Corporate about a year ago, Priscilla has lost 25 pounds. “Some of my old clothes are literally falling off!” she says. She talked to Shorelines about her progress and why Weight Watchers works for her.

If you want to lose weight with a program that really delivers results, in a sustainable fashion so you can keep the pounds off, there will be an open house at Corporate for Weight Watchers At Work next Friday, Feb 27. And if you’re not at Corporate, that’s OK — employees at our branches can sign up with a Weight Watchers group in their area and get the same discount and benefits. Details are here.

Why did you try Weight Watchers At Work?

It was convenient — I did not have to take extra time out of my day (or weekend) to find a meeting.

What was your first meeting like?

I was actually excited. I really wanted to do something for me. My kids are now almost 18 and 20, and for so long it was about them. This is all about me.

How does it feel to have lost 25 pounds?

It feels great! I have had to buy some new clothes. Some of my old ones are literally falling off.

What was the hardest part about losing the weight?

Getting over feeling guilty if I ate something “bad” (like chips or cake or something). With Weight Watchers, you can have what you want — just in moderation.

What made it doable?

Knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

How close are you to your goal weight?

I have about 20 more pounds to go.

Great work, Priscilla — keep it up! Weight Watchers At Work needs 20 members for the next session to qualify for our discount and benefits, so if you want to start looking and feeling better and healthier, check out the details and sign up now!
