North Shore Shape Up

Easy on the soy: Be cautious if you have a lot of soy in your diet. Though soy is often associated with healthy eating, it has been linked to breast cancer, especially if you eat a lot of it. It can also affect your thyroid gland, and you should definitely limit it to one serving a day if you have hyperthyroidism. It might be wise to avoid processed soy and to stick with edamame or fermented soy when you do eat it.
