Our annual Interra Health biometric screenings help improve bank employees’ quality of life by providing vital information about what kind of shape we’re in. Fox Point Universal Banker Abbey Samenfeld can testify to that! She recently wrote:

Every year, I am terrified of the Interra Health test, because I know I need to work on myself and my eating habits. Last week was a wake-up call, when I found out my cholesterol was higher than I would have liked. Since then, I’ve completely changed what and how much I eat, and I’ve been working out or walk for 30 minutes daily. After a week of this, I couldn’t be more proud of myself. I feel soooooo good! And when I see desserts, sweets, or snacky stuff, I don’t feel tempted to eat it!

I can’t say I would have made this lifestyle change if it weren’t for the Interra Health test!

Abbey has a family history of high cholesterol, so finding that hers was too high scared her — but in a positive way. She says the test results are leading her to “turn my life around and be healthier before it’s too late.”

This year’s free biometric screenings with Interra Health are now complete, but you can still save money on next year’s health insurance premiums. Have your screening performed by your own physician, download and fill in this form, and submit it to Interra using the instructions included.

And don’t forget: If you did not meet the minimum health score of 750 points, you can still get the Full Wellness Benefit by tracking activities on your InHealth Dashboard. Download this PDF to find out more.

Way to go, Abbey! Keep up the great work. We’re glad to hear the screening — although scary for you — was the start toward healthier habits.
