Brookfield Square Branch Manager Margie Brusa and her family visited Estero, Florida, in March to see her snowbird parents. A big highlight of the trip was playing pickleball every day. “We always play all games men versus women, and pickleball is no exception,” Margie says. The photo above “gives you some insight into how the matches went.”

Margie and her sister Mary Sue routinely schooled their husbands, Guido and Tony. Margie’s 3-year-old grandson Matteo was also along for the trip.

“Aside from nightly card games which included my parents, we loved the kayaking, boccie matches, and the afternoons in the pool,” Margie says. “The gourmet meals were planned at the pool in the afternoon, and food was prepared with a glass of wine at night. Estero is in between Naples and Fort Myers, so it is easy to see other cities and take advantage of the beaches close by.”

Sounds like a lot of fun! And it’s nice to know North Shore Bank has a pickleball champ on hand.

A “second” place is not all that bad, is it? Aside from that, I think those “Non-Winners” are a two good looking guys :) !

Margie, this is the way it should be. Women beating the men! (even if they are good looking)
Looks like a fun family time for all. And the weather looked spectacular!
