The Burlington branch showed its support for their local baseball heroes.

North Shore Bank joined the community to cheer the Burlington High School Demons, who won their first-ever state baseball championship on June 16.

“There was a wonderful parade on Saturday that made its way through town and directly in front of our branch to see the decorated front windows,” Burlington Assistant Branch Manager Barb Blazina said. The team beat Arrowhead High School, located in Hartland, Wisconsin, 6-4 for the title.

Barb added that the team’s graduating seniors are in the running for a statewide award, and that one senior does bank with North Shore, though he could not, unfortunately, be reached for comment. Go Demons!
