North Shore Bank helped sponsor the first “No Child Wet Behind” diaper drive and run/walk on May 21 in Green Bay. The event, which collected over 7,000 diapers, was organized by Green Bay Doulas in response to research saying that one in three families reports needing diapers and lacking any government assistance to help them.

In the weeks leading up to the run/walk, all of our Green Bay branches collected diapers. At the event itself, we had games for kids to win prizes, and families could register to win a family pack of Milwaukee County Zoo tickets and a cooler full of treats. Diapers were donated to the United Way in Green Bay.
