As we reported in June, Northland Personal Banker Kelly Kading won a Las Vegas vacation for two in our recent SOAR story contest. We checked in with Kelly to see how the trip — which he and his wife took July 8-10 — went.

“We had a lot of fun,” he said. “It was a great group of people to travel with. Las Vegas is a very interesting place — quite different from the good old Midwest I am used to. We are very thankful for the opportunity, as it was a good time for us to get away. We took about 100 pictures up and down the Strip, but only a few selfies with both of us. We need a selfie stick! We ended up ahead $5.17 playing penny slots, and I did put $10 on the Cubs and Packers at the Wynn to win it all. ☺️ ”
