Colleagues threw a surprise wedding shower for Senior Residential Loan Specialist Laura Pier on August 23.

“She had no idea!” reports Lending Quality Control Manager Jamie Sperk. “We had lunch and a delicious cake to celebrate.”

“I am still in shock! Thank you SO much to everybody for the wonderful shower, that was ridiculously sweet of you,” Laura wrote in an email later. “You guys are truly a special group of people. I am so fortunate to have coworkers like you!”

About 25 people showed up for the shower. Laura is marrying fellow employee Jon Habighorst, Personal Banker at Brookfield Capitol.
