Last month, North Shore Bank and NeighborWorks Green Bay announced the creation of a $300,000 loan fund that will help lower-income homebuyers with their down payment closing costs.

North Shore Bank representatives presented NeighborWorks with a giant check on August 17 at our Green Bay West office.

NeighborWorks Green Bay is a nonprofit whose mission is to engage community to strengthen neighborhoods, improve lives, enhance neighborhood character, promote home ownership, and provide housing choices. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has approved it for pre-purchase counseling, foreclosure prevention counseling and Home Equity Conversion Mortgage counseling.
