Five employees share why they came back to NSB
One sign of a good employer is its ability to retain strong employees. And one sign of a great employer is when strong employees leave — and then choose to return! Heading into the long Labor Day weekend, it seemed fitting to talk with some North Shore Bank personnel who have left the bank for various reasons and then found their way back. Shorelines spoke with Melissa Baccash, Maria Conway, Jewell Graham, Kelly LaBonte, and Peggy Theisen. Here are their stories.

NSB helps create fund to assist homebuyers

Last month, North Shore Bank and NeighborWorks Green Bay announced the creation of a $300,000 loan fund that will help lower-income homebuyers with their down payment closing costs.

North Shore Bank representatives presented NeighborWorks with a giant check on August 17 at our Green Bay West office.

NeighborWorks Green Bay is a nonprofit whose mission is to engage community to strengthen neighborhoods, improve lives, enhance neighborhood character, promote home ownership, and provide housing choices. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has approved it for pre-purchase counseling, foreclosure prevention counseling and Home Equity Conversion Mortgage counseling. •••

New Hires for September 1
It’s always exciting to add new members to our team. Here are some of the fresh faces at North Shore Bank.

Brittany Gay, new Universal Banker at Howard-Suamico, is from Green Bay and previously worked for Radisson Hotel. “I love going to concerts,” she says, “and have seen over 100 different bands live at almost 50 different concerts.” Her favorite show so far was Chicago Open Air this very summer. •••
