American Legion members disposed of worn flags at the ceremony.

The Brookfield American Legion Post and local Boy Scouts disposed of worn American flags collected by North Shore Bank in a ceremony on Veterans Day, November 11, in Brookfield.

The bank donated $1 per flag (up to $1,500) to Stars and Strips Honor Flight. VP Craig Witz presented the funds to the group at the ceremony. He also presented donations to the Scouts and Legion.
