Upcoming Events: December 1

For more information about our upcoming events, check out the Community Calendar.

The MACC Fund Candy Cane Lane holiday light display runs through December 26 in West Allis. North Shore Bank will match donations to support childhood cancer research. Seymour Savings will represent us at Mascot Night on Friday, December 9.

Our Green Bay West branch is hosting a Heaven’s Touch Giving Tree to celebrate the holiday spirit. There are names of 30 children on gift tags hanging from the tree; those who are able can select a tag (or two) and purchase a gift for that child. Gift suggestions are on the backs of the tags. Gifts should be dropped off the branch by December 12.

The Village of Sussex’s annual Joy Tree stands in the Sussex Civic Center lobby and is decorated with gift idea tags. Community members can choose as many tags as they wish and return wrapped gifts to the civic center no later than December 15. Gifts will be distributed at the Sussex Outreach Services holiday gift distribution event to older adults who are most in need.

The Sussex tree lighting takes place tomorrow, Friday, December 2. The celebration will include live musical performances by local children, a countdown to the lighting of the tree, a visit from Santa, and hot chocolate and cookies. If you are able, please bring a nonperishable food item for donation to the Sussex Food Pantry.

The Jackson Park tree lighting also takes place tomorrow, Friday, December 2. After the lighting, join North Shore Bank for seasonal refreshments and good cheer.

This Saturday, December 3, come to Family Free Day at the Milwaukee County Zoo, sponsored by North Shore Bank and Fox 6. Admission is free. Regular parking, rental, and concession rates still apply.

The Howard-Suamico Christmas parade takes place as well on Saturday, December 3.

You can support the students and teachers of the Hamilton School District in Sussex at the Charger Challenge 5K Run Walk, also taking place on Saturday, December 3.

The Milwaukee Business Journal will hold the next Business Power Breakfast on Friday, December 9. The premier business information and networking series in southeast Wisconsin, the breakfast presents headline makers in a unique format — part presentation, part Q&A conducted by reporters and editors. North Shore Bank is a sponsor of this event.

A sold-out holiday tradition for more than 10 years in a row, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Holiday Pops concert is beloved by audiences of all ages. It takes place Sunday, December 11, but you must RSVP by Monday, December 5.

And Howard-Suamico is holding a holiday open house on Friday, December 16. Santa will be there, along with other fun for the family.
