Corporate Sweet 16 event raises money for MACC Fund

Seymour Savings (digital solutions manager Tim Gluth), loan funding rep Sarah Gantner, loan servicing specialist Rachel Knitter, and Bob Phillips look on as investment consultant Dennis White takes a shot, watched by his teammate, teller Merry Justin.

On March 21, the Corporate Community Outreach Committee organized a Sweet 16 fundraiser to benefit the MACC Fund (or Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer). Employees could complete a March Madness college basketball bracket, enjoyed a casual dress day, and formed teams of two to compete in a basketball challenge.

The activities raised $682 for the MACC Fund.

Direct leasing manager Bob Phillips and investment processor Kyle Vaclav won the basketball challenge, scoring 22 points in a minute. They received gift baskets that included gift cards to Champs sporting goods. Thank you to everyone who took part! More photos from the day are on Facebook.
