Branch manager Debbie Cottone and her team at our Greendale office recently received this compliment from a customer:
I’ve been going to the Layton State Bank (now NSB) in Greendale for many years. Why? Because I’ve seldom seen a more professional group of people — not only willing to help, but having the “know-how” to answer any and all questions. Debbie Cottone is as good as they come, in my opinion! I wouldn’t even consider a going to a different bank. This isn’t like shopping in a store. These people are dealing with the customer’s money, and we depend on them to be knowledgeable and to help us out. But there is another aspect to the Greendale bank. It has always been more like a family — among the customers and those that work there. We know each other and care deeply about each other. Debbie and the tellers not only take excellent care of our money. They take care excellent of us. It’s a two-way road. It’s such a pleasure to go into the bank and see friends — and share a laugh or stories about our families. This is what makes a truly great bank! My dog even loved going there!
Debbie is so knowledgeable and knows just how to talk to customers so their minds can be at ease. She can talk with the customers about their investments and also share stories and laughs. And included in this list should be the tellers.
And VP Jude Lengell received this compliment for our Southridge branch:
I received a call today from one of our customers, John, who wanted to let me know that the Southridge branch location has been going above and beyond to make him feel important. The examples he provided were all ones where the branch employee used his name — whether it was welcoming him, making small talk while processing a transaction, or during the closing. He said it made him feel “special” and it was such a nice touch. He was wondering if all branch locations were providing this nice touch, and I assured him they were.
I thanked him and told him I would pass along his feedback.
Congratulations, Southridge branch team, for getting such awesome feedback from one of our customers. You certainly support our brand with this level of service and made him feel that NSB truly was the “Bank of John.”
