Steve Dowe, vice president, Facilities & Services, retired last week from North Shore Bank after over 30 years of service. He sent this note to his colleagues here:
It is with bittersweet emotions that I write to announce my retirement. I have enjoyed my time at North Shore Bank over the past 30 years, but the time has come to begin another phase in my life.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have met so many wonderful people and worked for a company of high business, community, and social standards. Your friendship and support will remain with me always.
Steve celebrated his 30th anniversary with the bank back in November. And in 2015, he talked to Shorelines about the responsibilities of his department. In 2011, while marking his 25th anniversary, he noted that he never expected to stay at one company for so long.
Thank you for three decades of service, Steve! You will be missed.
