Since launching our job shadow program in October 2015, we’ve had over 35 employees take part (and some have attended more than two!). After their shadow experience, we ask participants to provide some feedback in a brief survey. On a scale of 1 to 5 (where 5 represents the highest rating), the average rating is 4.76.
Here are some comments from participants:
“Everyone I spoke with was very well prepared and gave me a great overview of what they do day to day. The entire process was very well organized, and I learned a lot from my time in this department.”
“Everyone in the Marketing department was GREAT! Love working with them.”
“I hope we continue with the job shadow program. It really helped me understand what goes on in that department and opens up some windows of opportunity if I ever want to change or move in the bank. I look forward to doing other departments in the future.”
“I think the job shadow program is a wonderful opportunity to explore different departments that help the bank function as a whole. You don’t realize how much each department actually does for you at the branch level until you spend a day in their shoes. I hope other employees take advantage of this great opportunity. I loved it!”
