The Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series presents Sarah McQuaid at the Unitarian Church in Mequon tomorrow, Friday, September 14. The Madrid-born, Chicago-raised, Cornwall-based singer/songwriter has expanded her battery of instruments to include piano, electric guitar, and drum, and it’s drawn critical raves internationally. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The Glow in the Garten 3K Walk/Run takes place this Saturday, September 15, at Petrifying Springs Park & Biergarten. Enjoy a night of family fun with everything neon, light-up, and glow-in-the-dark, and support the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha.

Park at our Oneida Street office for just $10 for the Green Bay Packers game this Sunday, September 16. All of the money collected goes to benefit Boy Scout Troop 1139.

Support St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Milwaukee by participating in the Angels at Morningstar Golf Outing, taking place Wednesday, September 19. Proceeds will be used to repair church murals and for the parish scholarship fund.

The next Power Breakfast sponsored by North Shore Bank takes place Friday, September 21. Rockwell Automation chairman and CEO Blake Moret will offer an update on the company’s Milwaukee-area operations and provide an outlook for the rest of 2018. He will also discuss the impact of the factory of the future and workforce development in southeastern Wisconsin.

The Polish Center of Wisconsin is holding a Summer Beer Garden & Patio Party every Tuesday through September 25 from 4 to 10 p.m. Enjoy Polish sausage and other delicious food and drink, as well as yard games and socializing.
