The next installment of the Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series takes place this Saturday, January 26, at the Unitarian Church in Mequon, and features Joe Jencks, an award-winning songwriter and 18-year veteran of the international folk music circuit. Purchase tickets in advance at North Shore Bank in Mequon or Grafton.
Our Wauwatosa branch is the drop-off site for the Tosa All-City Read Collection for Tosa Cares Food Pantry, starting Friday, February 1, and running throughout the entire month. Bring canned goods and boxed food for those in need. This year’s featured book for the All-City Read is Station Eleven, by Emily St. John Mandel.
Green Bay Gamblers Hat Night, sponsored by North Shore Bank, takes place Friday, February 1, at the Resch Center. The first 1,000 fans to enter will each receive a free Gamblers hat.
Family Free Day at the Milwaukee County Zoo takes place Saturday, February 2. Admission is free all day. Family Free Day is sponsored by North Shore Bank and Fox 6. The zoo will debut its new groundhog that day, in celebration of Groundhog Day.
