Shorewood branch manager Shannon Weber and teller Razalyn Brock attended the Swing With Shorewood gala on March 9 at Milwaukee’s Discovery World.
Held by the Shorewood SEED Foundation, the event and its online auction component help fund grants and programs at Shorewood public schools, and has raised more than $1.5 million since 2004. North Shore Bank’s Shorewood branch donates to the foundation. Besides food and drink, the gala featured music by the Shorewood Intermediate School jazz band, and Shorewood High’s band and orchestra (pictured above).
“I love when the guest speakers get up and talk about how the funds raised at events like this support the schools and the things they are looking to do for the future,” Shannon said. “I also love hearing about the successes of the students.”
“It’s really amazing to see how this organization has moved the Shorewood community to contribute, raising funding to provide all these programs for the school district,” Razalyn said. “I’m glad North Shore Bank could be a part of that.” She and husband Nirmal are pictured above with Shannon and husband Jeff.
