New Hires for July 25

It’s always exciting to add new members to our team. Here are some of the fresh faces at North Shore Bank.

New Berlin personal banker Michael Bergevain was born and raised in Milwaukee and worked at Walgreens for almost six years. “I love to travel with my girlfriend,” Michael says. “We recently visited Los Angeles last year, and we will be headed to New York and Washington, D.C. this year, and Orlando and Miami early next year. In L.A., we visited the OUE Skyspace, which is the tallest building in the city. We went on the glass slide that goes off the side of the building and visited the courtyard for outside viewing, which was amazing. But the main reason we visited L.A. was to go to Disneyland, and we will be going to Disney World in Orlando.”

Mortgage loan originator Jeffrey Burkhart has lived in Germantown for the past 20 years. He previously worked at Chase. “I am a huge sports fan of all Wisconsin teams and also enjoy golfing,” Jeff says. “My favorite Wisconsin moment was when the Badgers beat then–no. 1 Ohio State 31-18 in football in 2010. It was a night game, so the crowd was crazy!”

Howard-Suamico universal banker Brooke Hillsberg was born and raised in Green Bay. She was a teller at Nicolet National Bank and worked at Hallmark in Green Bay as acting store manager for the past six months. “Now that they have found someone to take on the position I decided to get back into the banking world,” she says. “When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my dog and my nephew. My family is unique in that we all live very close. My sister and her family live down the block, my parents live one street over, and my grandfather lives next door to me.”
