Second annual ChalkFest offers colorful fun for kids and adults

Gorgeous images appeared on the ground beneath attendees’ feet, as North Shore Bank sponsored Green Bay’s ChalkFest chalk art festival at the Kroc Community Center on August 17.

The second annual event once again invited artists to create their work on the pavement while children and adults watched. Young people got to express their creativity in the Kid’s Chalk Zone, while visitors also enjoyed food, music, games, shopping, and a bounce house.

“Partnering with the Kroc Center was a great way to be involved in the community and allowed families to come hang out and enjoy some fun at a free event,” Green Bay East universal banker Kari Tuyls said. “The weather was beautiful, we had a good crowd, and I enjoyed watching the artists draw — it’s amazing how talented they are.”

Kari represented the bank at ChalkFest, along with area branch manager Mickey Adams. “It was a great time to interact with the families,” Mickey said. “We had the opportunity to communicate with parents about some of the products and services we have to offer here at North Shore Bank and play some fun educational games with the kids.”
