Northland branch employees and customers donated gifts for families in need this holiday season. Branch manager Lacee Kalepp was connected with the families and got their wish lists through a local school. Tags marked with items from the lists were hung on a tree at the branch, and customers could take the tags and purchase the items for the branch to donate. Branch employees also bought gifts from the lists, and Lacee dropped them off at the school.
“It felt great,” teller Kathleen Veu said. “It’s nice because they’re local kids and there’s a real sense of community in being able to help them out. It’s always something we like to do at this time of year.”
