National Hispanic Heritage Month has begun. The annual event, which runs September 15 to October 15, honors the cultures of Americans with ancestors from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. This year’s theme is “Hispanics: Be Proud of Your Past, Embrace the Future.”

North Shore Bank employees of Hispanic heritage are invited to share stories about themselves or family members they’re proud of (including kids!). We’ll run what we receive each week in Shorelines through October 15.
