Coin-counting initiative brings in almost $1 million in change

The final results of our coin-counting drive are in, and it’s really something! Customers and members of the public brought in almost $1 million in coins to be counted and exchanged in our effort to help address the nationwide coin shortage.

The drive ran for July and August and is now over. Coin counting remains free, as always, for North Shore Bank customers, while non-customers are charged a nominal fee. There is more information in the official press release.
