New hires needed! Share job info with qualified people
Know any qualified people who might be interested in working for the Bank of You? North Shore Bank is looking to fill about 30 open positions right now, and you can help spread the word.
Molly Schissler appeared on Spectrum News 1 last week to discuss our hiring needs. She explained to interviewer Ryan Burk that candidates don’t need any financial background.
“You have to have an interest in helping customers,” the SVP HR/Compliance said, “in helping people achieve what they’re looking to do with their money.”
Besides our high demand for Tellers, the bank also has openings for a Residential Loan Specialist both at Corporate and in Green Bay. That role comes with a sign-on bonus for external candidates and relocation assistance (if needed). Interested candidates can view the Corporate listing here and the Green Bay listing here.
The bank is also looking for Universal Bankers, Personal Bankers, and Mortgage Lenders in all of our markets. All of our current openings can be seen and applied for here.
Please share this information with qualified people in your network! Bonuses are available for positions filled through successful referrals from our employees. •••
Grafton team braves cold to collect for food pantry
Here’s this week’s update on our Bank on Kindness campaign to spread happiness and goodwill in our communities.
The Grafton branch’s “Share the Love” food drive for Family Sharing of Ozaukee County runs through February 28 and included a curbside collection last Saturday, February 13.
“We had the whole staff here to take turns in the cold weather,” branch manager Jennifer Mantooth said. “It was very cold, with the windchill below zero, but our hearts were warm and our spirits high.”
North Shore Bank’s food pantry donation-matching campaign continues throughout the month. Donations can be made online at give.mastercard.com/p/northshorebank, and will be matched by the bank, up to $500 per pantry. You can also get a link to donate by texting Kindness to 77948. Please feel free to share information about the donation drive via email, text, and social media, to help feed hungry Wisconsinites. •••
Muskego brings the love with roses, tree for Valentine’s
Muskego personal banker Matthew Cieslak brought some Valentine’s Day smiles to the branch when he showed up to work with roses. “Definitely made for a happy Friday,” branch manager Stephanie Bluemel reported.
The branch also boasted a Valentine’s Day tree this year. “With everything going on in the world, we thought we’d have a little fun,” Stephanie said. “The tree is a big hit and great conversation starter with customers. We’ve even had a few say they are doing the same thing at home!” •••
Mindful Minute: Train yourself to focus on the positive
Sometimes it can really be difficult to find the strength to deal with challenges. We need to uncover and grow the positive parts of ourselves, and make it a point to pay attention to experiences that bring us happiness. Too often we focus on what is wrong with us or unpleasant events. We need to make a concerted effort to include the positive in our awareness. Pat Ingelse has a meditation to help with that!
