This year’s Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic took place Friday, June 30. As in years past, North Shore Bank sponsored the kids’ race at the 19th annual bicycling competition.

We also ran a bike decorating station for kids and had some fun items to give away. When the over 250 young racers crossed the finish line, we had Culver’s frozen custard waiting for them, too.

“I love that we can participate and do this,” Shorewood branch manager Shannon Weber said. “It is an opportunity for us to talk and interact with the community.” She noted that this year’s was the biggest turnout she’s seen for the event.
