North Shore Bank volunteers welcome guests during Wild Lights at the Milwaukee County Zoo

Between the beautiful weather we had in December and additional promotion and light displays, it was a banner year for Wild Lights at the Milwaukee County Zoo! This year, 43,917 people attended Wild Lights – a major increase from 24,748 in 2022!

North Shore Bank was a proud sponsor of the “Flamingle All the Way” area during the event in December and also sponsored “CHEERS!”, two nights reserved for adults with additional activities.

Thank you to all of our employee volunteers who welcomed zoo-goers, passed out complimentary hot chocolate, and snapped keepsake photos mentioning the bank’s 100th celebration during the event on December 7th and December 14th during “CHEERS!”, as well as a family-filled Saturday on December 9th.

Area Manager Ray Guardiola led the volunteer teams and says, “We could not have made it happen without all the support from the volunteers. Our volunteers did a fantastic job in bringing the Bank of You enthusiasm to all the attendees we interacted with. It was a great way to round off the end of our centennial year.”
