The Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour, sponsored by North Shore Bank, takes place this weekend, Oct. 11-13. One of the 46 locations featured on the tour will be the Grafton Branch’s Stone House Gallery, the preserved original home on the site when the branch was built 15 years ago.
Galleries and other locations showcasing art are sprinkled across Ozaukee and Washington counties. Visitors will drive through farm fields and pumpkin patches as they make their way between galleries, 19 within walking distance of downtown Cedarburg. Fold-out maps are available so visitors can plan their stops over the three-day event. You also can download the map PDF here.
Grafton Branch Manager Bridget Sobocinski said the bank sponsors the tour with the Cedarburg Artists Guild. She’s excited for this year’s event. “We are organized and ready to visit our artists. We will be giving out swag and looking forward to conversations to help our community when we visit each location,” she said. “Looks like the weather will be great for visitors to walk the tour! It’s the perfect event to enjoy the crisp autumn air.”
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The branch is open Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Don’t miss it!
