Appleton, Menasha branches join local school’s Trunk or Treat
A group of North Shore Bank employees got a jump on Halloween at a trunk-or-treat event at a local school, handing out goodies to kids and parents. Community Engagement Manager Lacee Kalepp, Northland Lead Teller Patt Kox, and Menasha Teller Jenny Isenhower got all dressed up to take part in the fun!
The three from the Appleton and Menasha branches joined about 20 local businesses at the event at Jefferson Elementary School in Appleton. Lacee said the school wisely organized the event at the same time as parent-teacher conferences, so attendance was fantastic.
Looks like fun!
OUT OF OFFICE
Friends and family support Marie Cruz at Susan G. Komen event
The annual Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk moved indoors this year, but Southridge Assistant Branch Manager Marie Cruz, a three-year survivor, and her supporters attended to mark the occasion. The walk was originally scheduled for Sept. 22, but a thunderstorm caused organizers to cancel and reschedule.
The walk was held at Mayfair Mall on Sunday, Oct. 13, and Marie, who walks every year, was sure to be there.
“The walk is special to me because I am walking with so many strong women. I am so inspired to walk, fight, and never give up. I suffer from daily joint aches and pains due to leftover side effects from chemo and my current medications, but when I attend this walk, I feel so strong when I am surrounded by all my peers,” Marie said. “My family and friends who showed up to support me mean a lot because I know I am never fighting alone.”
This year’s theme was “More Than Pink.” The event featured goodie bags for survivors and thrivers, refreshments, sponsor tables, special activities, photo ops, a Wall of Hope where walkers could leave messages of encouragement, and lots of joy and togetherness.
NORTH SHORE STARS
Erika Milosevich named a finalist for two Top Directors awards
Erika Milosevich, CFP-Vice President and Program Manager of North Shore Investment Services, has been named a finalist in two 2024 Kehrer Group Top Directors Awards categories. Erika is a finalist in the Small Firm and Women-Led firm categories.
Since 2021, the Kehrer Group Top Directors Awards has celebrated leading financial services executives from across the financial institution insurance and securities community. The group uses a transparent, data-driven process to determine the Top Directors, consistent with its position as an independent, third-party research and consulting firm. The methodology is applied to a diverse group of nominees that cross broker dealers, delivery models, and institution size. You can learn more about the methodology behind the 2024 Top Directors Awards here.
Sue Doyle, SVP of Retail Banking, said Erika has led the Investment Services department since its inception 24 years ago.
“It is terrific to see Erika being nominated as a leader among her peers,” Sue said. “Under her direction, she has built a solid program. She and her team members are well-respected by our customers, employees, and peers. This recognition is well-deserved.”
The awards ceremony and top five in each category will be announced Nov. 7 at a gathering of the finalists in Cary, N.C.
Congratulations, Erika!

NEW TO NORTH SHORE BANK
Welcome to our September 2024 new hires!
Welcome to North Shore Bank’s new hires for September 2024!
Sophia DeKeyser, Teller at Sturgeon Bay
Although working for North Shore Bank is my first job in banking, I have held many other customer service roles. Before working at North Shore Bank, I worked for Target. I have always heard great things about North Shore Bank, and I like how community-oriented it is. I like how you get to know your customers and are able to help them reach their financial goals.
I live in Sturgeon Bay, and outside of work, I love reading, cooking, and spending time outside going for runs or walks.
Kimberly Haley, Payroll Manager for Human Resources
Prior to North Shore Bank, I worked for a company called MyPath Support Services, a family of nine companies that provide educational, therapeutic and other services for adults and children with disabilities. This is my first job in banking. I was interested in North Shore Bank because of the culture and the smaller, more local feel. I look forward to learning more about the industry and the organization. I live in Oconomowoc, and I love to spend time with my husband and two girls. My older daughter just got married last year and my younger daughter just graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. I also like to read, bake and sew.
Kimberly Halley, Lead Teller at Union Grove
Theresa Hofer, Quality Assurance Manager in the Customer Support Center
I have been in banking for more than 20 years, working as an audit manager, quality assurance manager, area bank manager, retail bank manager, and finance manager. Before starting at North Shore Bank, I worked at Associated Bank. I was attracted to working here due to the culture and positive reputation of the bank. I like banking for the opportunity to positively impact the team I work with and being able to positively impact the clients we serve at the bank in all channels: retail, business banking, commercial banking and investment services. Outside of work, I am involved with the Rescue Mission, Junior Achievement and my church. I live in Menomonee Falls with my spouse and three children. I like to spend as much time with my family as possible during my time off. I love to garden, run and participate in almost any physical fitness activity.
Steve Holzman, Senior Infrastructure Specialist in Information Systems
Rebekah Koski, Teller at Green Bay East
Before starting at North Shore Bank on Sept. 3, I was a professional nanny for over six years. I have no previous experience in banking, but I’ve been enjoying it. My family has banked with North Shore for most of my life, and I knew it was an honest bank with friendly staff. I was excited to apply based solely on North Shore’s reputation. So far, my favorite part of being a teller has been getting to know customers who are just as friendly as the staff!
I’ve lived in the Green Bay area for 23 years, and I like to spend my free time with my boyfriend, Sam, and my family, watching movies, playing board games, getting out into nature or cheering on the Packers.
Antonio Rodriguez Mata, Teller at Jackson Park
Chloe Spahn, Teller at Green Bay East
I was working at Walgreens as a beauty consultant before starting with North Shore Bank last month. This is my first time in banking and I am eager to make my mark. I love the community feel of this bank and how welcoming it is, and I like the growth opportunities within banking.
I live in Kaukauna, and I love writing songs as I’m a singer and I play guitar.
Stephen Turner, Regional Account Manager in Production-Indirect Lending
Before being hired by North Shore Bank, I was in automotive sales/management for 19 years. After being in the automotive industry for so long, I decided I was ready for a change. I was looking for something that could be flexible with my family and still let me help consumers purchase their wants and dreams. What attracted me to North Shore Bank was the overwhelming evidence of being a top-notch employer by both reading reviews and employee testimony. The other thing that influenced my decision was that North Shore has the largest market share of indirect RV/camper lending in almost every market they are in. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, and I currently live in Greenwood, a few miles south of Indianapolis. I have been married to the love of my life (Lucretia) for the past 18 years. We have three great children, Cash 15, Coleston, 13, and our wonderful surprise daughter, Charlotte, 5. My hobbies are spending time with my family, being outdoors, cars and football. And I am a huge San Francisco 49ers fan!!
GOOD WORK, NORTH SHORE!
