Bank team spreads kindness in Appleton, Menasha area
Residents in the Appleton and Menasha area received some sweet surprises recently after the local Bank on Kindness® crew hit the streets to hand out random gift cards. 01050 Community Engagement Manager Lacee Kalepp said Northland Associate Banker Dan Timko, Menasha Associate Banker Pa Chia Yang, and Menasha Teller Jenny Isenhower visited a park, the downtown area, and various local shops, finding individuals to receive the gift-card surprise.
“They had a lot of fun, and most importantly, the people they ran into were so excited and happy to talk with them. They felt like they had won the lottery!” Lacee said.
Sounds like a fun and heartwarming day!
Germantown branch thanks police officers with act of kindness
Community Engagement Manager Erica Hughes and the Germantown branch showed their appreciation for the Germantown Police Department with a random act of kindness — sandwiches from Jimmy John’s. In addition to thanking officers in person, the branch expressed their gratitude on Facebook with the following post:
“Your dedication to protecting and serving our community is truly inspiring. We’re proud to support you and say thank you on behalf of North Shore Bank.”
Way to go, Bank on Kindness® crew!

For women, the symptoms of depression can include feelings of worthlessness or guilt—signs that may be less typically thought of as related to depression.
Several factors unique to women may contribute to depression, including societal/gender stresses and natural hormonal changes that occur throughout a woman’s life.
