Community Engagement Manager Farrah Mason and her son, Brock, delivered some sweet surprises to teachers in the Mequon-Thiensville School District during parent-teacher conferences. Recognizing that teachers do a lot to prepare for conferences and spend long hours meeting with parents, Farrah ordered fall cookie boxes for the teachers from North Shore Bank customer Good Land Cookie Bakery, LLC.

“I thought it would be a fun surprise to show appreciation for all the hard work they do!” Farrah said. “Brock accompanied me to help spread kindness.”

What a nice way to say thank you!

Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour again draws rave reviews

Visitors and artists had a great time at the Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour.

Grafton Branch Manager Bridget Sobocinski said the recent Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour, held Oct. 11-13, was a huge success! North Shore Bank sponsors the annual tour with the Cedarburg Artists Guild.

Renee Schreiner’s artwork was on display at the Grafton branch’s Stone House Gallery.

One of the 46 locations featured on the tour was the Grafton Branch’s Stone House Gallery, the preserved original home on the site when the branch was built 15 years ago. The Stone House Gallery featured a few pieces from Renee Schreiner. Galleries and other locations showcasing art were sprinkled across Ozaukee and Washington counties.

Bridget said the artists were extremely grateful to North Shore Bank for its repeated sponsorship of the event. “As some of the artists visited the Grafton branch in the last couple of weeks, they said ‘thank you’ again,” she said.

Many of the artists reported the best event to date in terms of attendance and sales.

Bridget said the event was full of great finds, including unique ideas for holiday gifts. “The local talent is always full of surprises, and I look forward to our continued partnership with the Cedarburg Artists Guild,” she said.

“I’ve been using Greenlight with my 14-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter, and it’s been a game changer. My son earned money for gaming purchases by doing chores, and he loved using his debit card on a cashless school trip. It’s also made gifting easier—last summer, I had to Venmo parents when my son went golfing, but now I can just load his Greenlight. It’s been helpful for my daughter for outings with friends to holiday events or the movies. She even helped friends at a cashless event by loading their Greenlight cards—now their parents are signing up too!”
