Last year, our Corporate Community Outreach Committee put on five great fundraisers, donating money and goods to local causes with the help of North Shore Bank employees. The CCOC and employees:

• Raised $1,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association with their St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser
• Raised $809 for the Wisconsin Veterans Foundation in Waukesha in June
• Collected five boxes of school supplies and $275 in cash for the Waukesha County Back to School event in September
• Collected 10 large boxes of food and other items and $905 in cash for the Women’s Center of Waukesha in October
• Collected seven large boxes of toys and $1,531 for the Waukesha Christmas Clearing Council in December

That’s $4,520 total in 2013 for all these wonderful causes. Here’s a big thank-you from the committee to everyone who helped us help our community — and a thank-you TO the committee for organizing these fundraisers. Let’s make 2014 even better!
