VP of Consumer Credit Sales Mike Kellman recently gave a “lunch-and-learn” presentation for employees of Everbrite signage company in Greenfield on financial wellness. His talk focused mainly on how best to deal with credit card debt and tips for saving, as well as how to create a budget.

The presentation came about after a discussion at a roundtable of regional corporate wellness directors, attended by our own Wellness Coordinator Lynn Jack. As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen North Shore Bank’s relationships with other local companies, Lynn offered to organize financial wellness presentations for their employees. The Everbrite lunch-and-learn was the first of these.

“Everyone that I spoke to said it was the best lunch-and-learn they had attended,” an Everbrite employee named Amanda said of Mike’s presentation. “He was super informative and knowledgeable.”

Lynn plans to organize further such presentations; she hopes to put one together soon for Anthem Blue Cross. If you know of any companies who might be interested in hearing more about financial wellness, please email her at ljack@northshorebank.com.

“North Shore Bank’s speakers bureau is very pleased to have the opportunity to help local employers and potential customers better understand personal finance and financial wellness,” says Mike. “The bureau is available to speak to interested groups on a variety of financial topics, with time frames from 10 minutes to one hour.”
