In celebration of his 20th anniversary with the bank, Loan Funding Team Leader Brent Neumann’s coworkers surprised him last Thursday with lunch, a look back on life two decades ago, and an impromptu “roast.”
“My manager Joe [Fretschel] took me into a meeting, and he had some real content for it, so it seemed like a real meeting to me,” Brent says. While Joe distracted Brent, the rest of the Loan Servicing department got the meal set up. “They called Joe out of the meeting and told me to stay there — and the next you know, there was lunch! It was very, very nice.”
Later, the team invited the rest of the Corporate office over for cake. For the roast, Joe got up and shared some facts about Brent, who had to admit or deny their veracity. “I think my coworkers kept some of the facts to themselves,” Brent jokes. “They kept it at least PG.”
The team also hung up information on the walls about 1994, when Brent started at NSB, including the top movies and music from that year, and different news events.
Thanks again everyone. I had so much fun…and food!
