Why sign up for Weight Watchers now? You could lose 100 pounds.

Our Weight Watchers At Work 12-week series is ending, and we are looking for people to join for the next series — branches included!

Branch Operations Support Supervisor Ashley Coleman joined Weight Watchers At Work a year and a half ago and has lost almost 100 pounds. If you wonder whether Weight Watchers works, here’s her story:

After seeing the emails that Nancy sent out every now and then, I decided to just try going to one of the meetings to see what this whole “Weight Watchers” thing was all about. At the meeting, I saw firsthand how everyone supported each other through both ups and downs. I saw some members who were able to become lifetime members and some who were well on their way. Having the support of your coworkers is great — you don’t feel like you have to take the weight-loss journey on your own!

That first meeting hooked me, and I have been a member since August 2013 and have lost 95 pounds! I love Weight Watchers’ online component — there are tons of recipe ideas (even my husband approves of them!), and they make it so easy to track, you don’t have an excuse not to use it.

I have come a long way since I first joined. When I first joined, I was lucky if I could run five minutes, but this past January I ran my first half marathon and am working toward the Triple Crown. (If you complete all three half marathon races in San Diego, you qualify for this award.) You may have heard this already from other people, but it really is true: My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.

(You can read more about Ashley’s Weight Watchers experience in our interview with her from last May.)

If you are at a branch and would like to join Weight Watchers, you may join under the Corporate At Work program, attend any Weight Watchers meeting in your own neighborhood, and get the same rate and benefits.

The special promotion for this session is a 17-week series with two weeks FREE — so, 19 weeks for $186. That’s only $9.75 a week. This includes free e-tools and a free ActiveLink activity monitor. Payroll deduction is available, too. However, we do need 20 people to join to take advantage of this special.

As an added bonus: The 20th member who joins will get a FREE MEMBERSHIP! Plus, anyone who signs up for this session will receive a free cookbook with recipes from actual current Weight Watchers members.

If you are interested or would like to learn more on joining, contact Pat Ingelse or Nancy Hanson by Feb 27.
