Elmbrook Humane Society needs volunteers for its annual Wagfest fundraiser at Mitchell Park in Brookfield on Sept 12. If you love dogs and want to help animals, this is a great way to support a good cause and represent North Shore Bank.

DM Cristen Baumann is on the Humane Society board and will be working the raffle and silent auction at Wagfest. North Shore Bank will have a booth at the event and is also sponsoring the lure course. Volunteers are needed for our booth (“I have team members manning it, but could use one or two more,” Cristen says) and for other areas during the shifts listed here:

8–11am: Setup at Mitchell Park
10:45am–2pm: Shift 1
2–5:45pm: Shift 2
5-8:30pm (approximate): Cleanup

Volunteer areas for Shifts 1 and 2 include: parking, floating, security, dog games, raffle area, lure course, and food vendor tents.

“About 6,000 people come to the event with their dogs,” Cristen says. “It is very fun and hilarious!”

You can learn more about Wagfest on the Elmbrook Humane Society’s website. If you want to volunteer or have questions, email Cristen at cbaumann@northshorebank.com.
