On April 14, the Fox Point branch held a Business Continuity Plan meeting, which featured activities including a scavenger hunt and prizes.

“The meeting covered all emergency situations that our branch could face,” Assistant Branch Manager–Operations Beth Wianecki says. “We covered procedures to follow during fire, tornado, pandemic illness, snow, and flood emergencies. We also made sure that everyone’s contact information was up to date, so that the emergency system could reach them if a situation arose.”

The scavenger hunt helped make employees more aware of important equipment and locations within the branch that sometimes go unnoticed. Staffers had to look for things like fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, flashlights, radios, emergency exits, and utility shut-off switches.

“We wanted to make the meeting a little more interesting!” Beth says. “We tested everyone’s knowledge of their surroundings and gave out candy for correct answers.” Teller Evelyn Heu and Universal Banker Abbey Samenfeld, who got the most answers right, also won snazzy new cups. Branch Manager Carol Bergen set up an omelet bar for the team, as well.
