Tomorrow, September 23, the Milwaukee Business Journal Power Breakfast takes place at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. North Shore Bank is a sponsor of the event.
There will also be a Chili Cook-Off in Greendale at our Southridge branch on September 23. Stop by and cast your vote for your favorite chili made by the Southridge team. Proceeds support lunch and transportation costs for Martin Luther High School students.
The next Family Free Day at the Milwaukee County Zoo takes place on October 8. Admission is free, and the event is sponsored by North Shore Bank and Fox 6.
And the Kenosha Crop Hunger Walk will take place October 9. The walk supports the ministry of Church World Service — 75 percent of funds donated will go to help world hunger, and 25 percent will go to local food pantries and be divided between the Shalom Center, First Step Services, and the Salvation Army.
