The community grill-out hosted by our Lake in the Hills branch on June 2 drew a steady stream of traffic and won us some business, too, district manager Brian Bozek said.
“Branch manager James Shook and his team did a marvelous job generating traffic for this event,” Brian said. “They had a steady stream of foot traffic throughout the day, and it was really great to see families coming over to have a bite to eat and learn about Illinois State Bank.” The event yielded at least one new checking account.
The grill-out supported Algonquin Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry and brought in three crates of food. Visitors could also purchase Italian ices to support the Tri-Cities Little League; the players raised $85.
Employees who helped out with the grill-out and at the branch during the event include teller supervisor Dawn Conley, teller Paige John, assistant branch manager–sales Tanya Stoutemire, teller supervisor Blanca Wiley, and teller Teresa Wojciechowski.
