New Hires for June 8

It’s always exciting to add new members to our team. Here are some of the fresh faces at North Shore Bank.

Muskego personal banker Brannan Hood was born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio. He’s worked in banking for nearly 13 years, most recently as a branch manager for PNC Bank. He also recently did a stint as a security shift supervisor for Rockwell Automation. “People would probably be surprised to learn I’m an avid skydiving enthuasiast!” Brannan says. “It’s a hobby I picked up while serving in the Marine Corps.” His highest altitude so far has been 18,500 feet, with a full suit and oxygen mask.

Southwest teller Nicole Ndanda was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, but lived in South Africa until 2010. “The main thing I’ve noticed since moving to Wisconsin is how here, people are more to themselves and minding their own business. Back home, everyone knew each other, everyone would be outside talking and laughing — but here, people are in their houses and you barely know your neighbor,” she says. “And the other thing is definitely the weather! For people who had never seen snow before, it took my family and I a while to adjust.” Nicole previously worked for an after-school program called PeppNation Sports Leadership Camps. She speaks Swhahili, English, Lingala, and French.

Allouez teller Kari Tuyls was born and raised in Green Bay and previously worked as first assistant manager at Maurices clothing retailer. She has a 1½-year-old son named Casstiel and can wiggle her ears. “I don’t remember when I discovered I could do that!” Kari says. “I know I was pretty young — maybe 7 or so.”
